Cloud Picker

Established in 2013 by Frank Kavanagh & Peter Sztal, Cloud Picker is a roastery in Dublin with the name coming from a trip to Northen Thailand where they visited a coffee farm in the Doi Chang area on the Thai / Burma border and where we went up through the clouds to see the coffee pickers.

This Brazilian coffee is sourced from the Fazenda Passeio farm, which has been in the Vieira Ferreira family for four generations, located near Monte Belo in southern Minas Gerais. Unusually for Brazil, the coffee is handpicked, ensuring only the ripest cherries are used. They’re pulped the same day to prevent defects, then dried on patios before finishing in mechanical dryers.
